Effective Home Waterproofing Services in New Jersey and Pennsylvania

Safeguard your home from the ravages of water damage when you choose Bone Dry Waterproofing, Inc. in New Jersey and Pennsylvania, and our effective home waterproofing services. During the basement waterproofing procedure, Bone Dry Waterproofing uses both electric and air jackhammers to break open the floor of the wet basement, wide enough to pass the footer adjacent to the wall. This channel is then excavated beside the footer and not below the footer. (Note: All debris including concrete and dirt are removed from the property).

When the channel is opened, Bone Dry will drill holes in the cinder blocks thus draining any water that is trapped in the walls. (Note: this does not apply to poured concrete or stone walls).Three-inch PVC rigid perforated pipe is graded to the container with submersible sump pump.

All PVC pipe is covered with crushed stone. The floor is re-cemented and finished with a steel trowel. A ½” hydro-gap is created between the new concrete and wall after last sentence in third paragraph. This is known as a floating floor and is code for newly constructed homes.

The perforated pipe under the floor is graded to one or possibly two battery back up sump pumps. This depends solely upon the owner of the house. The sump pump is completely submersible; the only exposed portion of the system is the discharge line from the sump pump. The location of the container and pump is agreed upon during our visit with the homeowner at the time of estimate.

Important Waterproofing Service Notes:

  • Bone Dry Waterproofing Basement Interior Drainage Systems
  • Bone Dry Waterproofing workers will move all heavy articles, washers, dryers, freezers and work benches. No trucks are permitted on lawns. Bone dry will cover the entire articles during basement waterproofing with tarps. Our insurance does not cover the installation of electrical outlets. All pumps will be plugged into an existing outlet.

Cold Weather Note

When the cold weather arrives, we will not be able to wash down the driveways, patios, sidewalks, etc. This would create a dangerous condition because of ice forming. When the weather permits, you can clean the areas that we could not wash.
